Legs not feeling very sprightly after yesterday's exertions and long drive down.
Steady to #1, changed plan to #2 when i saw how busy the road i'd planned to run down was, and a bit of dither to find the control, ok to #3 and #4, then another dither before realising the best route to #5 was off the map (or rather, on the other side of the map). Poor route to #6, going for a gap that wasn't there, then the long way round - thought i'd lost 15s here but equal 1st on the splits so maybe everyone else did the same? - then apparently lost 15-20s on #7 but not sure how. Next few fine, careful to #16 in the tricksy bit and planned #17 well, then dropped 15s fannying about in and mostly out of #18 which was a bit oddly mapped. Feeling very weary across the soggy grass to the finish.
Roger 39.07 was running quicker today, Kirstin 42.15 lost a lot of time at #5
