5k race in Whitby. Went with JD and Kim. Everyone ran really well given none of us had been training for speed. Ended up 4th overall, 2nd mens 40-49. Got a good idea of where to set my training paces for this cycle.

Conditions were sunny, not to cold but windy. First half the race was into a very tough wind off the lake (maybe 30km?).

Super happy with the results. I expected to be much slower.
