Felt so lethargic today and took ages to warm up! Ran around back of north aranda down to ovals and did a few run throughs. Felt so much better by the end.

Swimming 24:00 [3]

1km swim late arvo. Felt good to do a bit more exercise today.

Very slow run into work this morning. Felt quite weary and very slow but had a lovely run through black mtn.

Went for a swim (1km). Felt a bit tired and was a bit slow.

Weights session at the gym. Really enjoyed it!

Rode my mountain bike to and from work. Really nice.

Body balance class. Felt good afterwards after lots of stretching and yoga, really enjoyed it.

Lovely run on beautiful morning with al and kathie. Having an interval-free week and enjoyed nice run around aranda and black mountain. It was quite long and hilly down to end of old rani rd and back on the roller coaster track. Legs (quads) a bit weary but not too bad and really enjoyed run.

Long run with al up black mtn and around Bruce ridge. Felt pretty good and no knee niggles or anything so was happy with run! Felt pretty tired afterwards.

Great run to work this morning. Did intervals on the way with Lucy on the bike path around lake. 20 x 30" (30' jog). It was so tough! At first I felt like I was going ok, but after 12 efforts I was really starting to feel it! Pushed hard right to the end though and was really happy with my run. Loved it, and such a good way to start the day!

Great interval session with al this morning at the usual aranda bushland loop. 1 x 10' (2'), 2 x 4' (2') then 3 x 1' (1' walk). Ran hard and felt good, and really enjoyed it! Tough session with a few hills.

Long hilly run with Greg. Ran to rani rd end, up single track up black mtn, then around little black mtn and aranda. Ran at a pretty steady pace and really enjoyed it!

Ran over to Laura's, ran a lap around Aranda bushland together and then I ran home. Pretty steady pace and felt a bit better after a day off yesterday. Really nice run.

The dreaded blackies at lunch with Lucy! Tough as ever. CSIRO to gate (5:36), gate to saddle (4:42) then saddle to summit (6:11). Ok times, not pbs but I felt like I'd gone ok. It was so tough! Then run back down to work. I love these saucony shoes! so comfy and light and grippy. Hip flexor seems ok today!

Swam 1km, focussed on different skills each 200m or so (kicking, reaching out). Enjoyed swim.

Gym at lunch. Overdid it a bit on a new exercise and hurt my hip flexor a bit - i'm sure it will be ok with a bit of stretching and anti-inflams!

Rode to work (had a flat tyre when i went to ride home so caught bus)

Body balance. Very nice and relaxing, stretches were good although hip flexor a bit sore!

Ints with al around aranda bushland. Did mixed up monas - (1 x 90", 2 x 60", 2 x 30", 2 x 15") x 2, all with equal rest (tried to do the rest at a 'float' pace). Was tough but fun and running felt ok even though I've still got this cough which is quite annoying.

Long run from Hackett. Was solo but really enjoyed it - ran up majura, hackett hill then Ainslie. Quite a warm morning so was very glad of water at the top of Ainslie. Ran pretty slow but felt ok, still bit of a cough though.

Park run at Lake G. Wasn't sure how I'd go today, and chest feeling a bit tight-ish, so was pretty happy with my run. Felt pretty good and tried to run at a good steady pace. Couldn't catch Grant M despite pushing hard for last km!

Legs were so sore from gym plus intervals yesterday, so I knew I had to work through the pain today! Did weights session at CISAC, tough but fun! Cough a bit annoying today, not quite over it after all....

Swam 1km. Arms were sore! Nice though, and tried to practice technique and realised I'm ok at doing my improved arms or kicking, just not both at the same time!

Ints on one of the usual aranda/black mtn loops. On my own today and struggled a bit - felt slow! Lungs were good though, am over my cough. Did 3 x 1600m with 1' recovery. Not great pace but good to be out running.

Ran with Laura around black mtn/aranda Fire trails. Beautiful morning and nice run, and I felt pretty good running although still have a bit of a cough.
