Really slow run around Aranda - tried to avoid hills (especially downhill). My legs are still so sore! Felt slightly better after a run.

majura vineyard two peaks race. It was tough! The downhills were really hard. I felt like I ran well - was able to keep pushing right to end and managed the changes in pace of climbing and descending and the flat(ter) bit on the last few km.

Long run around Black mtn and Aranda. Really nice run, although I was still feeling pretty tired and wasn't keen to do a minute over 90 mins! Did quite a few hills, including black mtn, and was really leg sore up last hill towards home.

Gossan Hill 2 x 8min loop with no rests. 15:43 which was faster than last time so happy about that! I tried to focus on technique - relaxing shoulders etc. Had a stitch for most of it which was annoying as I haven't had one for ages. Did a bit of a longer run after to make up to an hour.

Running hills 40:00 [5]

Short steep hills on bike path near ANU from tunnel to road x12. Seemed pretty easy compared to last week's horrible hill effort up black mtn so made me think I should find a steeper hill! Not that I was thinking that by the end...
times were 33, 34, 35, 34, 34, 34, 34, 33, 33, 34, 33, 33 so was happy with consistency. Slower than last time though I think?

Slow easy run around Aranda. It was really nice and my legs didn't feel as sore as I thought they would, just a bit weary.

Orienteering race 35:00 [4]

Relays at Badja. Great fun course, really enjoyed it! Especially liked last part out in the open with no slippery rocks and logs. Had a good run, just one not so good route choice which cost me a little bit of time (i went straight through some boulders instead of around)

Aus champs at Badja. Great fun course, I was really happy with my run and no real mistakes. Just a bit tentative in the middle when I started to lose concentration, but then managed to get it back together. Really enjoyed it!

Running intervals 47:00 [4]

4 x {1' (1'), 2' (1'), 30'' (1')} on bruce ridge. First couple were a bit interupted as I took a wrong turn and ended up on a funny dead-end track then had to climb a fence. I felt like I didn't go as hard as I should have, but was feeling a bit tired. Didn't sleep very well last night either.

Whoa that was tough!! Black mtn in 3 sections with a 1' standing recovery. Ran from work so ran from bottom of CSIRO to the gate, then gate to saddle, then to the top. It was so tough! I was completely exhausted afterwards. I think my 3 times were 5:40, 4:48 (i think) and then 5:40 again. Can't exactly remember but I think that's right...

Such fun orienteering at Yackandandah! Loved it. It was really hard navigation so couldn't really run too hard, but great fun.

Orienteering race 1:07:00 [4]

Oceania champs near Wangaratta. Fun course, made a couple of mistakes but really enjoyed it. It was tough running (I'm really not up to terrain running!)
