Canberra Times fun run. I was looking forward to the fun run but didn't really know how I'd go. When I realised I was doing 4:20 min/km at the start I was thinking I might blow up but thought i'd just try and keep it up - and was super happy to run a PB of 43:15! :) I got really tired just after 7km after the little pinch to Kings Ave, but knew it wasn't far to go so just kept pushing on.
Got a stitch at about 3km, but not too bad so I think my breakfast of 1.5 weetbix and half a banana was ok - just writing it here so I can remember for next time as I couldn't decide what to eat today.
Short intervals - 8 x 30" with equal walk recovery. Just ran around the ovals, but it was a bit slippery so did last couple and up back on the footpath.
Ran around the lake (bridge to bridge) at lunch in freezing ran and did intervals 1', 2', 3', 4', 3', 2', 1' with 1 min jog recovery. Didn't like it much today.
