Running long 1:44:00 [4]

Cockies long run. Really tough! Ran up Ainslie, Hackett Hill and Majura then back through the pines. It was great! It was hard but really good run. Food notes - had a gel after about 50 mins although had to have it without water. Probably not ideal and not all that nice, but was actually ok (no stomach problems as a result) so good to know for future reference!

Ran to work. Thought i'd be tired from yesterday but didn't feel too bad, just a bit tired up the hills.

Fartlek. I had planned to set my own session and do what I felt like, but I was too tired after a bit of a stressful work week that I just wanted someone to tell me what to do! So I did 1 x 9' (2'), 1 x 4' (1'), 6 x 20" (40" walk), 1 x 5' (1') 6 x 30" (i think I remembered that right!) on undulating tracks around Black mtn and Aranda. Was tough.

Really good interval session at lunch. Ran on the new bike path around Black mtn peninsula which was nice. Did 1 x 4', 2 x 2', 3x1', 4x30" and 5 x 15". I stuffed up the 15 secs sprints a bit because I really needed to go to the toilet and wasn't concentrating, so they weren't quite as hard as I'd wanted to do them and I had a longer rest (was supposed to have 15" recvoery but had 30"). Anyhoo it was a fun tough session!
