Cockies run with Grant, Jase and Rob. I was looking forward to going and doing a hard run but I felt terrible! I was really struggling most of the way. I felt like my legs had no strength in them or something. Managed to keep going though, even if I was a bit slower than usual. Not sure if it was yesterday's massage, or if I was more tired than I realised from yesterday's run. Went to the AIS afterwards and went in the plunge pool and spa which felt great.
Ran to Lake G and back to go in the parkrun. Met Al on the way.
Running race 22:19 [5] 5.0 km (4:28 / km)
parkrun at Lake G. It was cold and reminded me so much of school XC on a saturday morning! Really fun though, I enjoyed it. Seems like it was actually 5.1km, so hopefully that's fixed up next time. Ran a good steady pace - wasn't aiming for a pb but ran hard!

Had a massage today. Had some really sore spots in glutes, hamstrings etc so hopefully this will help!
Intervals around Aranda bushland with Al. Did a pryamid session - 1', 2', 3', 4', 3', 2', 1' with 1' jog recovery after each (2' after the 4' one). Felt good today! Was really good run, i enjoyed it. Really sore legs afterwards though! My hamstrings are really sore/tight.
Thought I'd try intervals today - just did 4x 1' hills on the top half of the track behind the houses in Aranda. Was pretty slow - 65'', 70'', 68'', 69'' (I think! can't quite remember). Felt leg weary but quite good to get back into some ints.
