Easy jog in arvo after helping at orienteering. I should've taken my o gear to the event as I would have been able to get out for a run but I had assumed it would be too hard with organising. Anyhoo.

Running long 2:33:00 [3]

Long run from susie's in the cold and drizzle. Ran with Susie, bronwyn and Jane for for first half then last hour solo. Was tired at end but managed the distance well. Foot was fine, and glute hurt for a bit but then eased off. Run was prretty fun but not the nicest weather to be out in!

shoes: Nike Lunar Glides

Early morning intervals with al and Kathie. Tough session - 1 x 15' (3') then 5', but really good. Glad al was there setting the pace! Felt pretty good running. Foot was a little bit sore and hip flexor was quite sore after run but fine during efforts. Really enjoyed it despite early (and dark!) start.

Ran home through black Mtn (indirect route!). Was better prepared this week with my new running jacket so it wasn't quite so cold and horrible as last week! Think I am set for winter training now, gear-wise. I am so slow downhill in the dark though - I realised I was walking downhill at one stage and had barely noticed!

Intervals at lunch on the bike path around black Mtn peninsula. Was such a nice day! 6 x 2:30" (30" float). Was hard to pace - felt like I should maybe have gone bit harder on first couple, but that's easy to say now! Foot a bit sore for the first time since last week. I think maybe bike path...?
