Cycling 2:20:00 [3]

Rode to stromlo then went for a mountain bike ride with Janine. Fun, but I was pretty tired from yesterday! My legs were very weary and a bit sore going uphill. Lots of fun singletrack though :)

Long run with Greg and Al (for first half) up Mt Painter, pinnacles, Kama reserve, Molonglo river, arboretum and then up Black mtn on the way home. So tired!! It was tough. Knee wasn't great by end - not really painful but just sore all the time. Happy to have got through that run though, as I found it pretty hard work for the last hour. Surged (sort of - as much as I could muster) the last 1-2km.

shoes: Asics ds trainers - purple

Intervals with Al - 3km, 2km, 1km all will 2' walk recovery. Felt not too bad and ran hard (still nowhere near keeping up with Al!) but was happy with how I could push it right to the end. Knee was a bit sore on and off but only really starting hurting on the way home.

Ran around Lake Ginninderra and home on bike path through cook and then through Aranda bushland. Felt ok and ran at a steady pace (average approx 5:30min/km until got to bushland). Knee pretty sore though unfortunately!

Rode to work and then to Telopea park to meet Jase and girls at xc.

Intervals at lunch on bike path around Black mtn peninsula. 6 x 2'(1' jog) then 6 x 30" (1' jog). Felt really good and tried to run fast. Leg was sore from Cathy's massage yesterday but otherwise good - knee just started hurting in second set of ints. Did lots (it's all relative) of stretching when I finished. Really enjoyed it! My 2 min ints were around 4:05 min/km with 1 under 4 mins! First one was bit slower.
