Swapped my run with someone else who hadn't entered and wanted to run in a team. Just not feeling great today - still coughing!! argh am so sick of it.

Orienteering 45:00 [3]

Aus middle distance champs. Didn't have a great run! Made lots of small stuffing-around type mistakes which just got a bit annoying by the end! Didn't feel great so wasn't running hard which I thought would be good considering how tricky it was, but unfortunately my brain didn't work either! Ah dear. I did have a couple of good controls in the middle and was fun having lots of short legs to navigate.

Went to doc again today - turns out antibiotics are giving me the stomach pains and not what I need for my cough anyway! Now trying some ventalin for my lungs. Hopefully will feel a bit better tomorrow.

shoes: Asics DS trainers - March 2013

Ints on the ovals with Al - 5', 4', 3', 2', 1' with 1' jog recovery after each, and then a bit of a rest before 4 x 30" (30" standing recovery). Didn't feel great - not a lot of energy and the antibiotics don't really seem to be fixing my cough. I somehow hurt my glute too - could really feel sciatic type pain by the end of my run.

Very sore sciatic nerve and stomach cramps today. :(

Morning swim (20 laps). Lungs and cough are still annoying me!

Body balance class. Was really nice and relaxing, and felt I really needed it with sore hamstrings and glute. I should definitely have stretched properly after yesterday's run...

shoes: Asics 1170s - Black

Ran home from work along the bike path (incl around black mtn peninsula). After warm up, did 9km at marathon pace/effort (which was about 5'10'' for first 3km then averaged more like 5'20'' as it was mostly up hill). Felt ok, was tired by end. Hamstrings a bit sore.

Bit of a funny weights session - went to cisac instead of gym in town and couldn't find all my usual equipment so just left out a few things. Felt really weary anyway.

Swimming 25:00 [2]

Really nice relaxing swim. Just the usual 20 laps.
