Slow easy jog around fire trails on aranda/black mtn. Legs were really sore from yesterday and felt quite weary.

Park run. Felt good and ran really hard - felt like I raced well. It was quite humid running but really fun. Bit disappointed to be slower than in October, but good to break 22 mins.

Swim in lake burley griffen! Had been quite nervous about doing this, but Cathy and I went down to Acton ferry terminal to swim at the marked course there. I was really nervous sitting on the edge of the jetty but thanks to Cathy i managed to swim to the first buoy ok, and got a bit more comfortable as we went on. At first I was finding it difficult to breath because I was quite nervous but once I started thinking about technique instead of where I was, it was much better. Felt like an absolute champion afterwards for having done it! Woo hoo!

Tough intervals on ovals with al - 12 x300m on 2'30" cycle (walk recovery) then 4 x100m (100 m walk). Fun but hard!

I didn't sleep very well last night and had a bit of a sore throat so didn't really feel like running today but managed to drag myself out and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Felt pretty slow running but tried hard; 4 x 1km (2' jog) then 4 x 30" (30" walk). Very tired by end and a struggle home! Ran undulating tracks around black mtn/aranda on way home from work.
