Was feeling really dragoony before I left and really tired from extra crappy sleep in cabin at Gold Coast but knew a run would set things to right and sure enough it was a ripper of a run. It was nice and flat and I ran along bike path from southport past the marathon start/finish area and over a bridge to the spit. Discovered a beautiful track to run along parallel to main beach through coastal vegetation and it was such a nice afternoon I just loved it! Was also feeling really good so decided to keep running and ended up doing a long run at a pretty steady pace. I should've run couple of extra km as apparently Johnny depp was filming at the end of the spit! Foot got really sore for about quarter of an hour with quite sharp pain but then was fine. Was a great run.

Lovely run in the sunshine during the day. Ran over to Macquarie then home around back of houses behind mt painter. It was an absolutely beautiful run, sky was such an amazing blue and the view across to the mountains was stunning. I loved it! Legs felt a bit weary though.

Ints on way to work. Ran through black mtn and twice around little black mtn for undulating session. 15' (2' walk), 3 x 2'30" (30" jog), 4x 30" (30" walk). Hills were hard and felt bit weary. Tough but fun!

Ints on the ovals. Ran to usual meeting spot and met kathie but my watch didn't work again so ran back home to get old stop watch so could do interval session (Kathie was tapering for Mara so did a different session). Did 15 x 70" (20" jog) which was tough! Last couple were pretty hard. Good though (although pretty annoying about watch). Still very dark and cold so looking forward to holiday!
