Southern Highlands Challenge at Wingello, 19km race (18.9 on the garmin). Really fun! Beautiful morning although pretty chilly, but lovely fun course. The first half was pretty hilly around the escarpment, and then had a nice easier stretch home along pretty straight, slightly undulating fire trails. I loved it, it was such a great course and really fun. I did the first half steady and then tried to maintain pace for the last few km, which was a bit challenging as my knee started hurting quite a lot on the outside for the last 3km (grr). Foot didn't hurt at all though!

Taper session at lunch 4 x 1' and 4 x 30", all with 1' jog recovery. Met Kate and ran on the bike path around black mtn peninsula.

Ran home from work and did ints on the way around little black mtn. Did 3 x {1' (1'), 2' (1'), 3' (1')}. It was raining and cold and not super fun but I was glad I went and it wasn't too bad once I got going.
