shoes: Asics Gel 2000

Long run with Jo. Ran through Aranda bushland and cork oaks and met Jo at the southern end of the arboretum, then ran back home through the arboretum and on the roller coaster tracks in black mtn. Legs were really sore and felt weary on the hills, but ran at a pretty steady pace and really enjoyed it. Strapped my foot and it was fine while running.

Ginninderra park run. Legs felt a bit sore from the last week, so was happy with being able to push hard. Had Grant M just in front of me the whole way to keep me going to the end! Beautiful morning to be running.

I was planning to go to the gym but it was such a nice day I decided to go for a ride instead. I got out the roady and thought I'd do 3 black mountains, but after 2 I was feeling a bit too leg weary to do another, so I rode over to Dairy farmers instead. That was pretty horrible too (I really don't like that hill and it's always so windy and cold there!) and then I got swooped on the way home, so i didn't love it by the end.

Ran at lunch on the usual bike path around black mtn with a slight variation out towards yarramundi reach and back. Did 8 x 2' (1' jog) followed by 4 x 30" (30" walk). The first rep was really hard and my legs still felt pretty sore and weary, but I warmed up to it and went ok by the end, although I certainly wasn't breaking any kinds of records!

Met Kathie for a run. Our legs were so tired from the weekend so we just ran easy around gossan hill. I felt pretty tired. Knee was fine though after taking anti-inflams for a couple of days, and foot is feeling good this week.
