Running long 2:02:55 [3] 22.87 km (5:22 / km)
shoes: Asics GEL 2000 aqua

Long run from montmorency, did my usual long run loop clockwise; eltham , a side trip to Petty’s orchard, then followed main yarra trail to westerfolds, along to lower plenty trail and back home. Was very happy with km rate (5:22) and that I could maintain effort to end. Was very tired by end though!

Exercises/Stretches/Gym 55:00 [3]

Weights session at gym. Also did lots of foam roller and found really sore spot in left itb/hamstring which probably explains why a bit sore this week (after race on weekend).

Swimming 25:00 [3] 1.0 km (25:00 / km)

Swam 1km after gym session. Was a bit disappointed with time as I felt like I was going fast!

Run with Al in the morning around Aranda Hill/Black mountain (did the hilly crackenback track). Still feeling a bit tired but much better than yesterday.

Went for an easy run in the morning with Al, Kathie and Shannon. Legs feeling very sore and weary! I was pretty slow, felt tired but good to get out for a run.

Swimming 30:00 [3]

Went for a swim in the evening. The pool was set up a bit strangely across-ways. I was feeling pretty tired and didn't feel like counting laps so just swam for half an hour. Legs felt a bit better afterwards.

Very slow morning walk! My legs were so sore from yesterday.
