Orienteering 30:00 [3]

Twilight at Bruce Ridge
Warm day and was not really motivated but went anyway. Started pretty well on a training map without tracks. Then disaster struck. Ran into a branch I didn't see and stacked it. Felt blood on my right thigh and started applying pressure to stop bleeding. Hobbled back (about 2 kms), drove car to FPRS and finally got home to have a good look at gash. Not pretty. Ollie drove me to Ginninderra Medical Centre where they sent me to Emergency. 2 hours later a doctor cleaned the 4cm wound, pushed the subcutaneous fat back in and put 6 stitches in.

Ride to Dickson Pool and back. Cool but pleasant.

Attempted to do 10 x 100 on 2:30 but got frustrated with people in my lane. Still good fun though.

Didn't feel like it but I have been doing my daily workout for 4 weeks now and i can't stop now :(

Entertaining Swiss visitors and started the day with walking up to Mt Ainslie. Sometimes we forget how fit we are. Both my friends were huffing and puffing and rather pleased with themselves for their achievement.

Training at Stromlo West with Emil & Theo
2 loops with 2 route choices on each loop so we could test our choices. Lovely weather and very pleasant running.

Ride to AIS swimming pool and back home

Swimming 50:00 [3]

600 wu, 10 x 100 on 2:30 and 200 c/d. Had a whole lane to myself for most of the time. Very enjoyable.

Short Maggie run as things got a bit stressful near the oval where 3 big dogs came racing towards us. Owners clearly didn't have much control over dogs. Very annoying
