Cycling 1:40:00 [5] 22.5 km (4:27 / km)

Cycling to - Southern Cross Railway Station
from - Lara Railway station out the the You Yangs (Regional Park)
Return the same way.
Even though it was flat pretty much the whole way, it was hard to maintain a good pace with a strong wind (blowing the wrong way) one semi flat tire and one mountain bike tire (this makes soo much difference! I've tried it out riding up Royal Parade where there are lots of cyclists, and even if I'm cycling as fast as my legs will go round, in the top gear, people on road bikes stream past me, doing much less work :( ) Anyway the ride back to Lara station was rather rushed (the wind had of course changed direction) because the next train wouldn't be coming for an hour, so I had to go as fast as I could...I literally only just got on, and stood for a little while (still in my O-gear) recovering. Ride back would've been intensity [5] but the ride out just [3] or [4].
I don't know how long it took me all up, so this is just a rough guess.

orienteering race 52:00 [4]

Orienteering out at the You Yangs. Course length 5.9km. It was pretty slow going for a good deal of the course because of the vegetation...the map is pretty much all green - there were some good runnable bits too though. Nice(ish) day...
