Sciatica returns. Damn!!! The only thing I've done lately that might have aggravated things is to try to hold Lucy back as an alley cat approaches, another dog appears in the distance, or she sees a fascinating leaf blow by. She keeps pulling and pulling and it's a lot of work to walk her. I think I'll take a break from that for a little while! The other thought is something back bending/twisting in yoga...or maybe the combo. Even feeling a little numbness in my right foot. Can't go back here again!!!
I just found out - my application to volunteer for Transformation Yoga Project was accepted, and I'm shadowing my first class tomorrow night at Kirkbride Recovery center in W. Philly (they offer in patient addiction and mental health services.) The trauma-informed yoga training I did with their sister organization in December in NYC qualified me right away. Should have lots to tell tomorrow night! Fingers crossed it goes well.
