Down around FDR park and back. Felt a bit sluggish and the wind seemed to come from every direction.

Yoga 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Bare Feet!

Feeling so very grateful to be able to practice on my own and feel like there is always something new to learn. The idea of "listening to the body" sounds kind of cheesy at first, but there becomes over time a close connection between mind and body, through the anchor of the breath, that allows that "listening" to come easily and naturally. The end result is just ... JOY. I get to play and have fun and just really be myself...this is a version of "growing up" where you get to stay young forever. :)

I want to take a second here to appreciate my brother @hughmac4, for suggesting I get into yoga many moons ago. I found the old AP entry / comments thread where he nudges me towards it, and I've been doing it ever since. HUGE THANK YOU HUGH! Yoga has enhanced my life in so many ways I wouldn't have thought possible.

Taught 2 classes; back bothering me. That's my excuse.

Yoga 1:10:00 [3]
shoes: Bare Feet!

Haven't done a full practice in too long. Feeling good!

Sometimes it feels like teaching 13-14 classes per week should be enough "doing yoga" but it's really not the same as being on your on mat. Today I had fun exploring some creative ways to transition between poses.
