Wow what an amazing weekend! I learned so much and I hope my teaching has improved exponentially! I am waiting to find out if I passed (still have to take an online test too) and if I did, I'll be a certified to teach Yoga for Osteoporosis. What this means is that people who are in this research study that is measuring the effect of 12 yoga poses practiced at least 4 times a week on bone density...can come to see me to make sure they're doing the poses right. Even those not in the study can do the poses to strengthen bones safely (there are a number of yoga poses that are not good for those with thinning bones. Forward folding is awful.) I hope to offer classes and privates with this emphasis. BAM!
It was yoga all day all weekend long and I am SORE!!!
