Orienteering race 1:01:44 [5]

Middle distance at WP. Good start of the race and felt relatively good up until #8- lost approx. 5min by looking for the control in an area one stream/reentrant south of where I should have been (compass error I guess). Then had a very bad #11- I was looking farther north along the hillside than I should have because I saw a cliff heading over a stream (creating a sort of waterfall) and I guess I misinterpreted what that was on the map. #12,13, and 14 were also all bad because by that point my race was just unraveling..

Orienteering race 15:33 [5] 2.0 km (7:47 / km)

West Point sprint. Refreshingly much better than my middle race in the morning.. really did not have much navigation trouble and felt like I had pretty good flow with the controls throughout. One mistake on #7, a control in the obstacle course-probably lost around a minute there and that;s it.

Orienteering race 38:07 [4] 5.2 km (7:20 / km)

NEOC meet at Mt. Misery. Went well: navigation was good, woods were fast and I felt like I had really good flow between the controls. Maybe lost 20 sec on 13 (rootstock on side of hill) because I wasn't quite sure how high it was on the hillside. Bummer because my calf started hurting ~20min in- I walked the uphills after that so I wouldn't make it feel worse.
