Run 1:50:00 [1]
AM. 50' up to the top of the ski hill with John. Great morning run with awesome views. Highlight of the weekend.
PM. O race at Royal Roads. Started out with the map, but decided I'd be better off with a decent workout, so turned it into a trail run after the 9th control. Rather go for a run than wade through the forest looking for bingo root stocks. Great place for a uni.

Orienteering 1:35:00 [1]
AM. on Van Island 50' follow John. Some bits of nice terrain.
PM. 35'+w/u at Nymph falls. Lot of trails, easy except for all the unmapped rootstocks. Fairly uninspirational orienteering.

Note
Here's the map and some photos from Sunday's orienteering race on Squamish Chief. A lot like the shield of MB actually, but with shear cliffs, 700m down on all sides.

Noon reco run with the xc boys. Going to try to be better about updating the log from now on...

PM. run with the boys from the clubhouse. Felt great after we picked up the pace a bit. Sub 4s felt super easy. A bit hard to get going, one of those days it was good to have awesome training buddies.
