Felt really lethargic and couldn't be bother with this, also couldn't be arsed with my leg hurting all the way home…as it was, the moment I got going it felt very pleasant and I enjoyed a lovely evening run home.

Leg still uncomfortable but behaved…zero uncle fatigue/soreness form the session…did I not try hard enough? Or were the two scotch eggs (that I nailed immediately post session) the perfect recovery?

Session at Graves, gutted t miss the XC relays, but I'm working this weekend

I felt like I was working very hard on the efforts and the 10 minute reps felt like marathon pace (i.e. relaxed), but the pace was shite. I'm hoping this was down to the issues I'm having with my garmin, but if not perhaps the good session at the track last tues was a bit of an anomaly

Frustratingly I entered that track sessions completely niggle free but the back/glut/hamstring niggle has gradually creeped back in.

HR wasn't particularly high either and I'm quite tired from a tricky week at work, perhaps I'm just a bit fatigued.

I enjoyed it anyway, I love training in Graves

Really surprised with this one. After last weeks session was expecting a pretty slow one tonight but thats probably my best set of times for this particular session. Wont get carried away, seemed a quick night, but a nice lift after conceding it may be a long road back.

No niggles today for the first time in a while…which I expect will change tomorrow.

Leading the recoveries fell to me, so I was very panicked when after rep one I realised my Garmin fields didn't have a lap time field…I winged it for lap one before making a note of the elapsed time for future reps, but amazingly I was bang on for the winged recovery…I've been doing this too long!

Long run before visiting my Grandma for her abandoned 90th Birthday party.

4 miles easy the 3 sets of 2miles threshold/1mile easy, 4 miles easy.

Ran around Wintersett where GPS is often turd and my new fangled garmin is consistently turd, so I very much plan to analyse these sunday long runs off HR and feel alone.

Felt strong, but slow and sore.

Efforts all c. 154-157 HR which was pretty much where I hoped it would be.

Time to get fit and heathy. Pre-Christmas goals are sub 16 mins at Mansfield and to beat my previous highest finsih at Sefton (78th).

Both a little out of reach going off current fitness, but certainly something to get out the door and work for.
