first run in a while, too hot in darwin so tried a treadmill run. Might go for another 5k this afternoon.

Longer traing run. First trial with new drink/gel. Carboshotz cola gel good, 5 mouthfuls of water to wash down. 3-5 min then energy surge, carboshotz electrolyte very easy to drink. Just one 500ml bottle to supplement the 3l camelbak. Had the gel at +30min then at +1:30 started to feel hungry, had a powerbar chocolate flavoured, felt satisfied.

After this run had some soreness in the left knee. ITBS? need to take it slow on the next run, not that i was going fast. Used old shoes, have had the ITBS before in the same knee when using these shoes. Back to the new ones.
