long warm up ( 2.61k ) then some strides and stretching
shortish warm down couldn't really be bothered doing more
12 PM

Orienteering race (November classic 2011) 1:01:47 [4] *** 11.66 km (5:18 / km) +110m 5:04 / km
spiked:16/19c (sick) shoes: Inov8 oroc 280 (old)

November classic - buskets lawn
running short brown as i need to run up to go for interland selection
started slowly to get into the 1:15000 scale but the beggining was just running down and ride , spiked the first control by taking a bearing and just running straight , the map was quite vague so i decided to take a bearing to everything . was having a amazing run up to 14 spiking all the controls and only a few hesitations , i was 2nd at 14 , messed up 15 a little by not seeing it and relocating ( + 1 min ) then the course got all green and horrible and i lost more time on 16 by overshooting ( + 1 min ) my biggest mistake though was on the last control where i lost ( + 2 mins ) by missing the ride and hacking through all of the green and undergrowth , i then relocated off the ride, apart from the last few controls it was a really good run and my chest held out i could feel it but it just felt like a weak stich , came 6th on short brown and was best m18 30 secs ahead of chris young and a min 20 ahead of jack . should hopefully be good enough for interland as ive won 2 races now :D

Orienteering race (Sandy balls sprint event ) 23:10 [3] *** 3.82 km (6:04 / km) +100m 5:22 / km
spiked:23/27c (sick) shoes: saucony jazz

Chest was feeling a bit better today so i thought i would give the sandy balls event a go as i had already entered , quite a lot went wrong in this course , firstly the crucial mistake , i punched the wrong number 3 by seeing david hunt who started a min infront of me coming out of it and i didnt take any control descriptions so i assumed that was my control but he had made a mistake on it to . Bad route to 5 by going down the hill , very slippy should have worn o shoes , (+30 secs) going to 10 took a stupid route by going up the hill when round was clearly better , legs got chewed in all the. Undergrowth as i was wearing shorts ( + 30 secs ) big mistake on 12 cut across the valley instead of going round and ended up being above knee i marsh and having to clamber through green to get back on track , the rest wasnt to bad but was a bit slpw as i was a bit put off by this point . Keep getting stiches for no apparant reason , i hadnt eaten foe 3.5 hours :L may be the antibiotocs :L all in all need to sort out these mispunches thats 2 events in a row now :L maybe need to check descriptions
3 PM
