| Setting controls in the terrain of the OLP relay in Godovic. Had a nice feeling about my courses, terrain was awesame, also the feeling in the woods. I felt fast in the forrest so I expected winning times around 8:30 - 9:00 per kilometer. But I was quite wrong. Winner made it by 10:30. Funny. I misplaced the CP near the finish area. Wasn't looking at the map very carefully. I corrected it later. | ||

| First time on the bike this year. MTB-O international race in Slovenj Gradec. Have had a flat tire after 3/4 of the race, so I had some foot-o until the end. Result ... Oh, well ... Winner went 1:20.
Track was physical and very technical. Long distance is a bit too much for me, anyway. Besides - my bike was half broken even before the race, so ... Anyway - great map, lots of uphill, lots of bike pushing ... And my attitude to the race was to enjoy. My club members started last, since we did not start the first day, so we caught up together on the CP5 and went relatively together up to CP15. There I broke off with a flat tire and one guy lost himself. I lost around 7 minutes by foot on the last part of the course and I have even beaten the other guy, who got lost. ;) Overall - great day and great race. | ||

| My first Trail-O race ever. National league. It was a nice easy experience. There was quite some nice logic in the controls, although there were a few CP's I'd say were not well done, but ... It was my first race. ;)
Anyway - I did relatively OK. Finished 3rd - best of Slovenians and behind 2 croatian National Team members. ;) If I don't succeed in Foot-O, I know where to start. ;) | ||

| Checking the new map of Martinj hrib 2. The terrain is great, mapping is OK. I was not very good with the map for the first part (but in the second everything was OK). It could be confusion, after getting to a REALLY GOOD terrain in a long time. Rythm of the map - continetal/karstic feeling is great. | ||

| University of Ljubljana Championships. I have been defending last year's bronze among the students. My running was nothing special. I felt quite strong before the race, also in the forest, but I was slow uphill and was a bit too careful orienteering.

| One of the shittiest o-races I've ever been to. Course setting disaster. If SD Severovzhod ever organizes another race, it should be cross country running race. It is the same! Until CP6 the orienteering was tolerable, after that it was mostly running on paths and following line objects. I came pissed to the finish like I never was before on o-race.
Anyway - feeling in the club team was great. Really great. Socially I had the best o-time in a long long time. We went to the race with the bus, there was lots of new information, good athmosphere, laughter, nice talks ... Great. | ||

| I have been exhausted today from the previous day. Also my knee was quite sore ... So ... No success today ... ;-)
I ran Coppa Italia 1^ at the Aviano. Middle distance. Start list in elite category full of well known aces. Terrain was nice, though nothing special. Thick green thorny forrest with stone walls, some karstic features, mostly continental -- with empty sandy river (very interesting). I started bad, but it progressed to better and not to worse. I made a few minutes of mistake to the first control. Though - I was not very fast in any case. Then I got on OK. Felt my knee really bad to the 2nd and then practically all the way until 15th. So, I tried to get most of the technique out of it when I adopted the idea of not getting the most out of the race. I thought I would be by far the last, but seemed like Iztok and Samo took it easy too. | ||

| I saw some wild animal in the forest today. It was brown and hairy. Sort of some small bear. But it could not have been a bear. I am not sure, what it was. The poor thing must have been scared to death with everybody crossing the terrain there. | ||
