Short warm up, I have been exhausted and sore from yesterday. I felt my knee, my back hurts amazingly again ... :)

I ran M35 Short course today. I have really been exhausted. Technically I was better then yesterday, but I still made for around 5 or even more minutes of mistakes. Elite course has been interesting enough - at least in the first part, so - maybe I could finish that one too, but ... I am quite satisfied, that I ran the short course. :)

Another long elite course. I used 2 power gels in between. Made for around 30 minutes of mistakes, but still ... I would have been lousy anyway. :(

National Trail-O league. Made one mistake due to bad knowledge of rules, one mistake because I was not careful and one mistake, which might not have been a mistake but mistake of course setter. But ...

Disastrous race. :) My first mispunch ever. ;)

Started with some adrenalin - very insecure. I had some tasks with the organiser which is never helpful. Started well, felt pretty OK. Some club mates have been cheering. After that I accelerated and soon found out I was out of energy. I felt my heart bumping really hard. I had to stop. I have never hed such troubles on the course. After that I felt my full stomach (I ate 3 hours prior to the race, hummm) and had to stop. I had this lousy tempo for a few controls. Then went on OK. In the forrest I forgot to follow my compas, I had no idea about the scale ... I totally missed controls 16 and 18. Disaster. After that I hardly managed to the finish.

Besides - organiser put controls 34 and 54, 35 and 55 close together and ... I punched 34 instead of 54 and 34 instead of 55. Shitty.

Setting and picking controls for scout racing. Rechecking, attacking from different angles. I spent the whole day behind the map, navigating around the cars, teams, controllers, delivering food and in the end picking up controls. Result - exhausted.

Technically - incredible! I nailed all the CP's - not even a few meters of mistakes. :)

Terrain has been similar to the one, used in OO.cup, we have been near Mala Lazna. Forrest is great, clear, quite runnable. Contours features are very well formed - deep depressions, quite a lot of hills, etc. Seems really great.

Warm up with basic map checking on the way to start of the first training. We ran part of the leg over the hill, not on the path.

Training with Samo and Matja?. We went slowly - each leading one leg. It didn't go that well. Twice we lost contact with the map and made quite big mistakes.

Dani made a short sprint around Zencek (Martinj Hrib map) and it was amazing, fast. I started 2 minutes behind Jerca and came to the car 10-12 minutes before her. I made practically no mistakes and I ran like hell. Great race.

Mapping paths in the southern part of the map. Things did not go so well. There have been quite some discrepancies in my measurements and I lost my triangle and rubber during the whole process. I measured half of the map without. ;) There are still a few paths missing in this part.

Mapping basic grid of paths on the northern part of the map. Great job. Everything worked out fine. That part of the map is now ready for contour/detail work. Tomorrow I will measure path grid in the southern part.

OLP race on Godovic map. Great terrain - even greater race. One of the best this year. Really nice course setting. Made for 18 minutes of mistakes, but it was still slow. Otherwise it felt very physical through the race, I never really rested. It was just right mentally demanding. Really nice.

Terrain is lovely. We should use it for Cerkno Cup 2010. I guess. ;)

Went to the pool in Cerkno in the afternoon. A kind of thermal water could do a bit of good for my back. ;)
