One-man relay race in Muggia, Italy. Part of winter league. I could have been 3rd or maybe even had a chance for gold, but I took the wrong map for the second leg (of 4) and had to rerun it.
Orienteering 1:05:00 [3] *** 5.7 km (11:24 / km) +260m 9:17 / km
ahr:166 max:204 spiked:9/9c shoes: New Balance 765
O-training with Samo in the afternoon. I felt very tired in the beginning, then got better and better until the end. Orienteering felt no fun at first ... Funny feeling. But I enjed it more and more towards the finish. We did one major mistake, had a bit of discussion in the middle ... This is why we were so slow. It was nice getting to know a new terrain. Map is nice and so is terrain at Rasica.
Note
I went out the first time after a week of "rest". Being at an intense seminar with a bunch of people, having some obligatory social life to attend, was not the best for my training habbits. Besides - it was a good thing to take a week of.

Running in Muggia I noticed that I had quite a hard time running fast, while I was not yet warmed up. So, I took some care about that and on the track I felt fast. I finished my first lap before the winner and I was pretty good on my second lap ... Though ... I mixed up one man-relay maps and had run one more additional small lap ... Anyway - I felt quite strong, but quite some uphill made me a bit tired in the end so to the finished I could hardly beat Andreja.

Additional training was hard in the beginning, I felt like turning back to the car, but then, after I warmed up properly it felt great.

Note
(rest day)
Rest day ... Looks like this will be my recovery week. I am leaving for France tomorrow and there will be just the work and no time for play. Not even for a few occasional runs ... Well, we will see. :)
