Running on PST with my roommate. We started fast and I could hardly keep the pace and after 22 minutes I got warmed and could speed up in the second half. In the end I did some faster intervals with longer steps. Nice. We went out a few minutes past 5pm and it was still sunny! :) Nice change, when spring is comming. :)

(rest day)
Traveling from Sao Pedro de Sul to Porto, then to London Stansted (a few celebrities have been on the plane - like D. Renard :)) and then to Ljubljana. We have caught the plane by 2 minutes. :) For our running around the airport orienteering skills have been quite welcome. :)

Warming up before the race ...
Orienteering race 1:11:49 [3] *** 5.6 km (12:49 / km) +305m 10:05 / km
spiked:30/30c shoes: VJ Lops
My knee still was quite hurt from the previous event, however, when I warmed up, I didn't feel it anymore. The 4th race in the POM was - well, from the competitors point of view - a disaster ... Mass start with people, reading maps for 3 minutes in advance, then a little train to the first controls ... I didn't like it too much ... Anyway - for a few controls I have been only running behind and when I first looked at the map for real at the 6th I was quite slow. My compass is broken, so - I had some additional problems with following the direction, I made quite a few mistakes there fore ... Besides I was quite careful on the rocks and it was extremely slippery. And - when I felt strong for running I immediately made a mistake! On the long leg - I boomed major and got into the green ... Alltogether for around 16' of mistakes.

Jaka ran 51' and Jure 45'. Thierry made 38' on course! So - great result by our junior!!!

Skipped the race today because of my knee! It is swollen and it hurts!
