Orienteering 2:02:36 [4] *** 5.6 km (21:54 / km) +400m 16:08 / km
spiked:16/16c shoes: New Balance 765
This was a funny race today. I was without energy to make it all, but ... Partly course setting was great, partly it was made trough the green and in the uphill. I started OK, catching Miha to the 2nd, but then made a great error to the 4th, beating Miha to the 5th and then loosing places in the long uphill to the 6th. Following Miha's pace to the 7th (funny map; again very green unfair control) and 8th. 9th and 10th have been a crisis for me. I lost myself twice to the 9th, fighting hard with some green areas. Kids have beaten me, taking a path around. To the 10th (route choice over the hill) I took the pathless choice. I think I was fast anyway. I lost my nerve to the 11th - again some 50 meters of steep uphill. I could hardly walk - not run. I decided to finish fast and I made a great run in the tricky area towards the end. Fast and quite accurate, but ... Then again - 50 meters of steep uphill thrugh the green to the finish ... Shitty end.

Marco Seppi ran 64', Jure Zmrzlikar ran 68'.
