Setting numerous controls for the national Trail-O league. Did also 6hrs of field work before and spent more that 12 hours behind the computer screen ... 20 people came in the end ... You do the math. ;)

Great course on the Predgrize 2 map (extreme karstic part) set by Andraz. Enjoyed all of the race. I made for approximately 7 minutes of mistakes and have been quite slow partly. Also because of poor physical shape. But also map reading could be much better. However - I don't have the courage to loose touch with the map in this terrain. Which means - I do not risk at all.

Bacnar (almost club champion from today) cought me to the 2nd (and has beaten me here). I have beaten him to 3rd and we got back together after my mistake to 4th. Then we ran more or less together. I must say I went technically better then my rivals (also Simon ran in the group), but we lost will and speed after CP10. I am not sure why, but I guess, we are just lousy runners.

3rd place in the end, decent race.

Today's club championships was supposed to be my "race of the year", the one I owe all my motivation for training, the goal. However, after a series of injuries (that still last) of my knees and lack of time for running training I've lost quite some speed and endurance over the past two months - however, I am still quite keen about my o-technique. Everything sort of faded over the past two months.

Scout orienteering race in Velenje. Had many tasks on the track, including mine field passage and 1:300, 30m radius cartography task. Poor quality of organisation. Enjoyed it anyway.

Checking controls for Slovenian Military N.C. in relay. Mostly simple orienteering on paths. I found one mistake. I spent a bit of time looking for the tiny marks of the CP's.

Running first lap of Military champs. I knew immediately that this track would be too much for most of Slovenian military. Course was demanding, terrain very detailed, slow and partly even steep. 9:30 of mistakes. Pretnar ran 40', Rihtarič 44', Kustec 51'.

I am just too week physically to keep the pace trough the race. I have been quite slow in the uphill and from half of the 9th to the finish I could've been much faster.
