Sunday Mar 9

Running ABC's/Stretching 5:00 [3] 0.5 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: VJ Integrator 2008
Short warm up before the race.
Orienteering race 1:22:26 [3] *** 6.9 km (11:57 / km) +185m 10:32 / km
spiked:17/17c weight:84kg shoes: VJ Integrator 2008
I have been at the chasing start (last line) before the competition and it happens that I can not really run well after such an asignment. I am just too distracted. So - firstly - 3:30 mistake on a relatively simple first leg. I made so many stupid mistakes. Up to the third CP it was a simple course, however, I needed to make a stop for (...) :) on a way to the third. 3'. To the 4th I lost it again 7' and from then on it went better. I made some good legs. Again I lost it to the 10th where I couldn't follow the north bearing. 30 degrees mistake. 3 minutes. Otherwise this was a fast ran leg - just the way it should be.

I lost my motivation on the 4th completely. Have had 15 minutes of mistakes there already. Bad race with 19' of mistakes alltogether.

Saturday Mar 8

Running ABC's/Stretching warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1 km (10:00 / km)
weight:84.6kg shoes: VJ Integrator 2008
Easy warm up.
Orienteering race 1:02:18 [4] *** 6.2 km (10:03 / km) +185m 8:45 / km
spiked:18/18c shoes: VJ Integrator 2008
1st DAY of Lipica Open. I let T. G. win in M21E so I ran M21A. I lost 30 seconds on the start when putting the map in the foil, 15' to 3rd when I was a bit too much careful, 10' to 5th, 1' to 8th when passing the control (thinking it was in the next depression), 10' to 9th, 3' to 10th (long one), when I got a bit lost in between (though I was still relatively OK in direction) and then in the end when I went too far and had to return back. I took a bad route choice to 11th - 30', 10' to 12th and 10' to 17th. Small mistakes are due to unoptimal route on microlevel. Alltogether - 5:15. When finished it didn't seem that much, but still - I am relatively satisfied.

Course was OK. I got a bloody blister on my heel. I wonder how it will be tomorrow.

I still can not push myself to run in higher pace.

FOR THE RECORD:
I have beaten J. Jazbar for 3' today. ;) Otherwise - Grega Raj, Ale? Poljan?ek and Matej Sedej ran better.

Thursday Mar 6

Tuesday Mar 4

Running ABC's/Stretching warm up/down 10:00 [1]
Stretching my shoulders and other muscles ...
Swimming 1:25:00 [3] 2.05 km (41:28 / km)
In the pool ... Finally able to swim longer distances ...

Monday Mar 3

Orienteering (control setting) 15:00 [3] *** 1.2 km (12:30 / km) +10m 12:00 / km
spiked:13/13c
Had to do quick control setting for todays sprint race. The whole night I have been drawing the o-map and finished at around 9AM, then cought 2 hours of sleep, after that a struggle to get my printer working, buying things for the race and in the end, baking a cake. ;)

The race succeeded, I think. People seemed to enjoy. :)
Nice.
