Note

Foot is the same. One more day maybe, getting the deets on swimming and road riding up here. Still kicking around what to do for 2016: Xterra? 70.3? 50k, 50m, 100k, 100m ultras? All of the above?

Note

Bruised my third met on my right foot somehow. Cold symptoms are better, but hurts to walk on the foot. Probably from squatting on the floor at the computer - need a 'puter chair.

Note
(sick)

Still a scratchy throat and post-nasal drip. Not sure if it's a bit of a cold or the wacky weather shifts.

MTB 1:14:37 [3] 10.7 mi (8.6 mph) +1801ft

Easy-mod MTB ride from the house, through the county park and out to the HUB trails. JRA.

Low 40's to start, pretty large temp changes depending on sun vs shade vs south exposure.

All kinds of fun, love these trails.

Run 43:13 [3] 4.07 mi (10:37 / mi) +511ft 9:29 / mi

Easy to mod from the house down through the county park. Up Hillside, down perimeter to Delano, out and back on Tollgate - flipped at 23. Back on Perimeter, bathroom stop on the way back and a quick pause to watch the propane delivery guy crunch some poor kid's jump ramp. Bummer.

Ok run; temps into the 50's today, at least. Late start waiting for Holly to get her shit together.

Run 37:02 [3] 4.02 mi (9:13 / mi)

Moderate on the treadmill, "Forest Walk" for 35 mins. Max speed started at 7.8, and 5% max elevation, but way too hot for me. 6.9 MPH is more reasonable.

Long night; G got up at 12:30 and wouldn't go back down for 30 mins until I pulled him into bed with us. Cat decided 0330 was the perfect time to get into some shit. I plopped some food down for him around 0430, but he kept acting up for another 30 mins or so before he finally ate something and settled. "Eat your food, Tina. Eat it!"

Note

Down the hill to the Bro-in-laws for G's early birthday party. No training today, just 5+ hours in the car. Yuck.
