Easy from the house, through the county campground and then out and back on Toll Gate. First run in the Hoka Challenger 2's. Upsized a 1/2 size and it feels like the right shoes. Enough room in the to box, light, and a noticeable energy return. I like.
Bad news, the left leg/ calf isn't ready. Feels like my old cuboidal sprain is acting up. It's not re-sprained, but it's tight in that spot and then the calf starts burning; probably compensating for the reduced mobility.
Staying off the feet, massaging the foot, rolling and stretching everywhere else.
Huge aerobic fitness right now. 7:4X's like NBD. WOW.
