Pre-race session on the trainer.

Warmed up for 15 minutes, then 3 x 1 min on 5 min recoveries at about 340, then 3 x 30 seconds with 5 min recoveries at max effort (492). Cooled down to make it 1 hour.

XCO Vallnord on the Chrome Cast. Best gift EVER.

VASA 20:00 [3]

On the VASA after work.

10 x 60 secs on, 50 secs off. Set the watch to beep every 60 seconds, which made it much easier than trying to catch glimpses of it or stop completely to see how much time is left. Started with about 55 reps per set and battled like hell to keep it over 50 per set.

Should be ready to bump it up to 15 x 60 after this unload, then start adding resistance once I can hand with the extra sets. Level one, one band.

Out to the town parade around 10, then back home with G and H by non for lunch. G refused to nap, Holly not feeling well so workouts and house work got totally shit canned. HUGE, never-ending list of shit to do before the baby sprinkle, then the birth, then winter work before it snows...and so it goes.

From the house, through the county campground down Toll Gate to the Hub Trails, then out and back on Rope Swing.

Walked 5, then jogged 10 to warm up. Middle 40 was 5 x 6 mins tempo with 2 min recoveries (1 walk, 1 jog). Jogged and walked back home.

Tired, but legs came around. Starting to have to work to reach tempo HR and getting quicker each time I do these. Good stuff.
