Moderate effort on the home trails.

Left Vegas at about 1130, drove all morning/ afternoon and made i home around 1530. Holly grabbed her stuff and bailed down to her mom's to grab the kids. I threw my running stuff in the car and jammed down to the Hub Trails for a quick run since I'm headed to Chico in the morning.

Baker 2 Vegas relay.

Had leg 9, at about 2116 hours or so. Had to grab the light up vest from leg 7, haul ass to my leg, sign in, pin numbers on, and pre game dump all in 45 minutes or so. I barely had time to jog up and down the highway a bit before they were calling our team and it was go time.

Overcooked the first mile and paid for it the second mile where all the climbing is. Miles 3-6 are all downhill so just focused on turnover and form. The last 1.5 is flat and starts climbing again, which HURT after crap pacing early on. Managed a 7:04 average, which is under the 7:12 the coaches asked for.

I'm sure I had closer to 7:00 pace with better warm up and pacing. I would love to run this under 50 next year.

Tried like hell to catch RSO, but he's a speedy one, and Navajo Public Safety caught me. Team wound up 9th overall and 7th in Open division. That's solid considering some of our strong guys got hurt right before.

Easy taper-ish on the treadmill. Walked 5 to wrom up, then 2 x 10 mins just going through the gears with 2 min recoveries. Walked 5 to cool down.
