Venla, 3rd leg

Despite the shit weather, it was a really good weekend!
I had asked for the short leg because of my fitness. Felt a lot better than I did at 10mila which was a relief, could keep up ok! Apart from a mistake on the first control, I'm really happy with my run. It was maybe a 2 min mistake so that's not great but it was probably the trickiest control on the course and I managed to sort it out for the rest of the race!

Started with a big group and ran a bit faster than planned, also missed the first control.. A fairly good race after that, was orienteering pretty well and was second to finish (was overtaken to the finish by Helena), not too bothered by that though because that means I don't have to plan it next year!

Note

Been for some tests at the doctors today. Haven't been allowed to eat as normal or take my iron tablets for the last week, and not eat anything solid since yesterday morning due to these tests. Not the best timing but probably good to have them done, hopefully I'll be alright by the weekend.
