Splits- 14:04, 934, 1324, 1645, 1941, 1106, 1307, 1433, 1129, 1053,

1800 feet of elevation gain

first 10 easy then 20 at tempo for trails - HR in the 140s and 150s.

No idea why but this run felt like the last 10 miles of a 50 miler. Unfortunately, work has me really stressed and it is making it hard to rest so I think I am getting sick more and am not as prepared for workouts. Not whining but I think that is what is happening. Darn.

Easyish run with 4X20 strides, poor footing and darkness kept pace slow. Happy New Year!

Easy run in Kansas.

Monday Dec 28, 2015 #

Hill Intervals 47:00 [3] 5.3 mi (8:52 / mi)

TM- 15 min warmup and 10 min cooldown. Then minute on/minute off all at 827 8% then flat for easy minute for 22 minutes. Done in Kansas so not too bad, HR in the upper 150s and low 160s on the on minutes.

TM at my parents' house in KS. 4.2 to 4.3 at 10%. Feeling better, still have a cough.
