Note

Way too drugged up to be allowed to write to attackpoint, but Sarah is at work so no one here to stop me. Standing or sitting does not seem advisable. In the sofa with pillows all around me, typing with one hand on the kindle.

Bored and browsing attackpoint. I don't seem to be the only one with health problems but a little bit of epedemic out there. Alex, Ben and Becky all seems to have issues. Surprisingly Phil seems to be doing well.

Sarah has her own issue with the dental scalpel jujitsu that happened yesterday and is hurting today.

It would probably would be really fun to play that game we played at NAOC in the state I am in now.

Note

The surgical dressing is off. Took some cool pictures of the three incesions but probably not appropriate to post on attackpoint. Starting to dial back drugs.

Note

We just had a call with the surgeon and he seemed very happy with the surgery. The bone is out but it was smaller as parts of it had started to dissolve. He also fixed the front ligament.

I should take it very easy for the next week, with only minimum pendulum exercises. We will start talking PT at that point, but he told me that I should not move the arm out of neutral (rotate beyond body when arm is lifted) for the first month. I think this is due to the ligament repair not anything to do with the bone piece.

The pain is fairly manageable but I feel pretty loopy from the medication.

Note

At home. Sarah said surgeon seemed happy. Call with him tomorrow. Nerve block in effect. Hooked in to ice coolng machine and will be unitil mid-Thursday. No real pain so far but anesthesiologist said it would turn into a five out of ten with pain killers after nerve block.
