Orienteering 46:11 [1] 1.8 mi (25:39 / mi)

I walked with the O'Brien family on the white course introducing them to orienteering. They were in good spirits despite the miserable weather, and will hopefully return for an event with better weather. They were picking things up quickly and I am sure would be able to try some of the harder courses soon.

Note

Continued improvement at the PT, with 130 degrees flexion and 130 degrees abduction. Though it was painful.

Then something strange happened an hour after PT. My Acromion and Clavicle bone has been a liitle bit higher than before the surgery. I had a lot of pain and when I was trying to get comfortable moving my arm, all of a sudden something felt like it snapped in place. The bones seem to have come down to the original location.

Note

Good progress with the PT. Added exercises to my set I do several times a day. Still mainly self-assisted passive ones, but the two new ones is adding in the challenge of gravity. One is flexion lying down using a stick to assist with other arm. Measured 118 degrees with a goal of 145 degrees so pretty close. The other exercise is internal/external rotation lying down also self-assisted with stick. I am restricted to neutral so I can do that fairly well but my shoulder is pretty stiff for that motion. No abduction exercises yet. The pulley test went much better today, with acheiving about 100 degrees.
