Good session running in a trio with Jonny and Ali, lost a bit of concentration on 3rd rep and got gapped a little bit at the end of rep but good for the rest of the others. Decent effort. Day off running yesterday seems to have done the legs a world of good.

A Decent week till Wednesday then a lil bit niggly, but some solid sessions have been done overall. Was a fan of the raz turned progression run, could be a good one to build endurance.

Felt so shite this morning, like no energy and just generally felt like a potato. Cheers to Jack for helping me get around the 2nd one, session was supposed to be 3 reps but just didn't feel up to it. Maybe just a bit shagged from the cycle yesterday or still recovering from cold but ah well, at least the heart rate went up.

Easy run - Sacked off intervals

Was going to do a short rep session tonight but r calf was feeling rather tight and didn't want to aggravate it into something worse, so to just decided to call it quits early. Legs felt good though in general.

Seem to be going into a cycle of my calf feeling fine mon-wed feeling shite Thu then good again for the weekend after a rest day or cross train. Also maybe a link between calf feeling a bit worse when wearing Salomons but not sure...

Continuing the stretching and foot exercises, insoles have arrived so will try them soon. Want to get this persisting problem out the way before really getting into the depths of Winter, so think it was smart to sack it tonight.

Easy Morning Run

Met Jack at DVC but unluckily his knee had flared up a bit. Bumped into Totton halfway around so just had some bants with him for the rest. A bit restless getting to sleep last night so a little groggy when woke up, felt fine at end of the run.

Road 'Raz' around the meadows.

Stuck to the grass to begin with, but wanted to experiment with my newly stretched hip flexors! Felt a bit stale in the initial 20 minutes - probably from just not drinking enough water today but gradually felt better and better until my legs started to feel good. Got into a nice rhythm, so sort of just went with and felt strong and controlled. Probably can't really call this a raz more of a typical nixon progression run if anything.

Legs felt okay finishing apart from the usual tightness in my r calf after immediately finishing a session, loosening of hip flexors definitely helping.
