Skipped the legs again. First weight workout in 22 days (I know this because when you start the workout it tells you how bad you've been).

w/up on Rabbit Run. Started with the 190 pacer because of the long layoff (15 days since my last biking effort), but destroyed him easily. (P=210, C=69)

Chose a longer route this time and started with the default 200 pacer on the Vindicator loop, but smoked him within 2 miles and upped it to 220.

Still can't get the HR up very high, despite making a pretty decent effort. So, I guess I have to keep getting the leg strength up so I can get a real workout accomplished. (P=228, C=67)

I could have dropped a bit of time if I knew the Y all-time leaderboard: 41:12, 41:39, 41:41, so I have future targets. The current season leader was listed on the screen, but it was just 51:18.

Easy loop around Expresso Speedway. Discovered you can't "coast" on these bikes - the speed immediately dropped to zero when I paused pedaling to adjust my sore butt.

RH3 from Cobbs Hill. Walked the whole way, but much of it quickly, so I didn't shortcut with the walkers. Anchored the winning dizzy relay that was held by the reservoir in honor of the Daytona 500 (did walk that, too - the relay, not the 500).

Tuscon B-Meet Classic Day - Green Course

Walked the Green course with Chris and Wilbur. Spiked just about every control, except the one where Cristina caught us. Chris and Wilbur ran most of the way to the go control and in, while I just took a shortcut to the shelter, hence the quicker times on those legs.

Walked the course with Chris. Failed badly on C8 (lost 8+ minutes), but other than that, quite solid navigation.

Not a whole lot of time left by the time I went to complete the triathlon tonight. So, did Billy Goat Falls. Interestingly, the checkpoints on this course had the orange and white O symbol! Held back a bit on this one because I knew I wanted to go after the Expresso Speedway course next. (P=213, C=67).

Went after Expresso Speedway. Can certainly go faster as this was at the end of the night, but went pretty hard and got the season best by 13 seconds. 2:29 is the overall facility record, so I'll have to take a shot at that when I'm fresher, but that might be out of reach. (P=298, C=78)

Day was too full of sports spectating to get a workout in. First up was Luke's hockey game, a 4-3 sudden death OT win. Then he had two basketball games - the first was a 42-40 loss. Luke stole the ball with less than 10 seconds left but was double-teamed and couldn't make the shot to tie. The next game was I think a 49-47 loss in OT. Luke played point guard half the time, but still pulled down 13 rebounds in 16 minutes.

Finally, it was off to the Sabres game, which was a disappointing loss to the Bruins - once again failing to get many shots on goal.

Wicked Workout loop for the first time. This had a lot of change in grade, including topping 45%. Started with the 210 pacer, but he was no match today. Almost 8 min ahead of the only other posted time for the season, but only 6th overall, but only 53 seconds out of 3rd (could have used that knowledge to work harder at the time).

HR was messed form the start. I think my skipped beats were confusing the machine. (P=223, C=66)

w/dn on Expresso Speedway. Was going with the 190 pacer, but had my ghost to beat as well, so I had to do that. (P=206, C=77)

No time to get out at lunch, so that I could leave just before 5 for the Sabres game - they pulled out a win over les Habs by scoring with 1.9 seconds left and winning the shootout with our Captain scoring and then theirs (Gionta) not.

Had time for a slightly longer loop, so I went with the Grape Stomper. The default pacer was 200 and I was tired, so I went with that, but once I got going the competitive juices started to flow. There was no current leader so I wanted to put up a reasonable time (P=217, C=65)

Once again the HR monitor stopped working correctly partway through (probably when I got too sweaty), so it was showing rates in the upper 60s and lower 70s - I assume that was half the real rate.

Time was slightly limited, so although I just set the pacer at 210, I tried to go after this one a little harder. Saw the leader was just over 25 minutes and I knew I would beat that, the question was just by how much, so I ended up putting up my best power rating by quite a bit (P=238, C=70)
