Map Hike 1:28:54 [1]

Map Hike at Sprague Brook with Walt before the BIlls debacle.
Did 8 controls on the east side (don't remember the numbers). One (the 5th, perhaps #18) was quite bad, as we climbed a hill and couldn't relocate for a bit, then thought we did, but no. Had to try again.

Splits: 6:42, 6:46, 4:03, 10:44, 30:21, 9:27, 10:01, 6:01, 4:49

Map Hike 20:00 [1] 1.0 mi (20:00 / mi)

Setting flags for the Beginner course plus going back out with Zach to place one Adventure flag. Map needed a bit of improvement in the area - Luke also got a bit confused by unmapped trails and overly generalized vegetation in the same area.

Map Hike 22:35 [1] 1.7 km (13:17 / km)

Picking up the controls on the "Adventure" course at our church's "Party in the Park" at the Arboretum / Kent Park. We had 12 groups go out - all were kids (sometimes with adults following them around). I think almost all had great fun, but I didn't have a good way to encourage them to come to a club event sometime.

The Adventure course was a short and easy Yellow, while the beginner course was a short (0.9K) White.

Map Hike 11:56 [1] 0.9 km (13:16 / km)

Beginner course flag pick-up.
