Long day to finish up the draft, and I didn't wake up early enough to exercise ahead of time (well, I temporarily woke up by 7, but had to sleep again).

Can't remember the exact time. Had to start on the Precor again. Level 11 - RPMs going from low 70s to mid 70s to 80.

Took care of my ghost on this ride.

Given two days off, I figured it was appropriate to try to knock off a second ghost, and did so.

No shot at ghost on this one, so I just kept it honest. Best month since Mar 2013 as I had avg power = 207 for 87 miles (vs 211 for 111 miles). I would have been just about 100 miles this month if the other Expresso bike wasn't broken.

Drove straight from work to Willink to watch the last half of Luke's opening baseball game. They picked up a comfortable win and Luke was 3-4 plus a walk, and had a catch plus at least 3 throws over to first from 3rd base.

Then went to dinner, so no exercise. Probably a fine decision, to give the Achilles a day off.

Well, this was strange. The screen said that my PR was 230 watts, so I figured I had no chance. Set the pacer at 210 and got a jump on him and the ghost. Kept expecting the ghost to make a move, but he never really did, so I beat him by 5 seconds. Was up 12 seconds at halfway.

Just went with the 210 pacer until the last 0.33 when I hustled in ahead of another biker that happened by.

Walking (and driving) around Genesee Valley Park to set the controls for today's meet. 33 controls, but they were only sprint courses, so not too much distance to cover.

Zach and Luke won the two sprint courses, both very close to 15 minutes, so I think it all worked out quite well.

And, no, the boys had no advantage on the courses (well, other than Zach living less than a mile from the start) :-).
