Hashing 1:17:55 [2] 3.94 mi (19:48 / mi) +76m 18:41 / mi

Finally made it back to a hash weekend, and the main trail today did not disappoint. We ran through some sweet white woods and finished up in Conesus Lake (with our host there with a trailer with a cold barrel).

I was in the back portion of the runner's pack early, but then was able to keep up with the lead pack, for the most part.

Note
(rest day)

Did a short trail to kick off the hash weekend. Great themed beverage stops.

Map Hike and vetting at Sardinia - north side. Visited 8 map hike controls and 8 other locations, of which 7 had tape visible. The one that didn't was supposed to be a root stock next to a trail / stream crossing, so I'm sure I had the right feature.

Note
(rest day)

Luke's team won their fourth game of the Eastern Regionals, 14-4 in 6 innings (mercy rule), finishing 2-2. Losing the first game in extra innings prevented them from advancing to tomorrow's semi-finals. And either of two questionable calls could have allowed them to win in 7 innings.

Running 46:48 intensity: (3:30 @1) + (43:18 @2) 3.87 mi (12:06 / mi) +111m 11:06 / mi

Back to the County Park - turns out I was wrong - it's $6 to park if you have a permit, $13 otherwise, so I parked in the same spot as yesterday and ran in to the trails. Many of the trails are heavily used by horses, so I had to watch my step.

This was after Luke's team beat Maryland, 4-0. Maryland was represented by West Salisbury Little League, so not far from Luke's Aunt Grace's family's house.

Running 56:18 [2] 4.31 mi (13:03 / mi) +176m 11:35 / mi

Was going to run at a county park but they wanted $6 to park, so I parked on a pull-off I had seen nearby and ran in a nature center that had some very nice trails.
