Final Freezeroo race - a 10K from Casey Park in Ontario. Was not optimistic after the long week and late flight last night, but hoped to keep it under an hour. 5th mile was into the wind and I thought the hour mark would be tough, but I gained on a big-ish group with the wind in the 6th mile, making it easily.

Walked 30s after each mile (except the 6th).

Splits: 9:37, 9:35, 9:29, 9:29, 9:51, 9:12, 2:24 (8:38 pace)

Running warm up/down 2:30 [2] 0.25 mi (10:01 / mi)

Most of w/up + w/dn was just walking

Had to check out by 11am, and had a meeting at 8am, so did not pull off a workout. After checking out, went over to the stadium to see some field work and caught some WR bench presses on the way out.

The hotel has 2 expresso bikes, but both were out of order and the other upright bike was in use, so I had to jump on the recumbent. Did level 14 around the world, which had too much easy stuff for my taste.

Very nice weather for day 1 in Indy for the Combine. Had a meeting until 5, then was able to get out for a run. Walked 30s every 1/2 mile except near 2.5mi where I was stopped for traffic just before then.

A short run in Batavia after dropping Luke off for his hockey playoff game. Kept it under 10 min pace, which was easier as I only took walking breaks every 0.75 miles.

Luke's game was exciting as they pulled off a 5-4 win in the closing minutes. Luke tallied two goals plus set up the tying goal with another coast-to-coast play and a slick pass.
