Solid workout at Eastside - the colder water got me moving early. This was after a hockey doubleheader of sorts - Luke's team came back to tie their tourney game from down 2-0 after 2, with Luke scoring one, then a second on a penalty shot awarded for a player covering the puck in the crease; then watched the Sabres lose in a shootout via tape delay.

Scheduled a rest day as Christine was out with the "MOPS" (can they still call themselves that?), so I got home a little after 7 and eventually took Luke out to Flags for dinner. Christine eventually joined us as the older ladies can't stay out as late as they used to.

Got downstairs at lunchtime to make sure I got a workout in today. The default pacer is the 200, so I went with him and he turned out to be a worthy opponent. HR did not climb, but my legs got in a good workout.

Another day off. Plan was to workout at lunchtime, but there was too much to do to get out. Went to the Sabres game after work, and saw a rarity: 6 goals scored (just by the Sabres). Walt and I gave away our seats in order to try out the other end zone Club seats that I scored from work. I prefer the game from our seats, but the intermissions from the club seats.

Messed up the watch on the first interval, but was about 3:30, then went 3:19, 3:16.

The watch thought my pace was a little slower than it really was on the intervals. My last interval was closer to 7:30 pace than 8:06, as each lap is barely under 0.22 miles.

RH3 in Henrietta. Ended up walking the last part because one of the hares was giving me a "shortcut" but wanted to walk and we missed the runners at the next junction, so I joined the walkers. He felt sorry for me because he saw me "limping".

Other than that, nice trail: cold, thigh-deep water crossings, full of shiggy, drew some blood.
