Short run from the Renaissance Hotel in Chicago before heading to Rooftop seats for the Cubs game. Right hip severely limited my pace (still the effects of the fall on Sunday), and I did the usual 30s walking break every 1/2 mile.

Figured some easy spinning would be good for hip/groin recovery after yesterday's race, but I was wrong. I couldn't really move my right leg through the range of motion required to complete revolutions of the pedal, so after a couple awkward minutes of trying, hoping things would loosen up, I had to quit.

Fortunately, the Renaissance Chicago had a reasonable-sized pool, and if I didn't push off I was able to do some decent TI drills and then I did some hip exercises in the water as well.

Pretty solid effort - the last 200 pim was the fastest in sometime (and a long time at Bayview) - following Luke's loss to RH, but he did manage to score 2 of the team's 3 runs from the 9-spot.
