Finally made it back out for a lunchtime run (since I'm heading to the Sabres opener tonight). I thought I had a GPS lock before I started, but the tracks say otherwise. I did 1 mile jog / 1 min walk, except I cut the 3rd jog short, since I had over a mile left, and that made the split more even and the walk out of sight. Pressed the 2nd mile and came close to 8:30. Also picked it up on the final stretch and was 8:39 pace for 3/4 mile.

Watching the girls race at Black Creek Park. Hustled around and was able to watch the old-fashioned way, but not with enough time to spare to try it for the boys. Girls looked like they had a shot at RH early, but the top girl had back issues flare up again, #2 took a spill, another was still limited by lost time from an ankle injury and still another was out with an injury.
