Shuffling 23:34 intensity: (6 @0) + (10:02 @1) + (8:56 @2) + (4:28 @3) + (2 @4) 1.23 mi (19:10 / mi)
ahr:118 max:150

Section V Champs at Midlakes Mud Bath (wasn't as bad as last year). This was the C girls race, with Addison running well and one of their 8th graders (not Sarah) finishing 4th and advancing to States! Sarah was 14th, with an excellent run. It was a tight 4-way battle for the title, with Addison 4th.

Shuffling 36:52 intensity: (9:09 @0) + (14:38 @1) + (9:09 @2) + (3:55 @3) + (1 @4) 1.41 mi (26:09 / mi)
ahr:98 max:147

Class C Boys, with Addison scoring a big upset win over Marcus Whitman. They were down about 15 at the mile mark, but moved up and got up by 2 just after 2 miles, and won 60-65 with 3rd place back at 154. So, their team is off to Long Island next weekend.
1 PM

Shuffling 29:19 intensity: (14:43 @1) + (9:25 @2) + (4:41 @3) + (30 @4) 1.37 mi (21:24 / mi)
ahr:117 max:151

Class A girls, with Schroeder placing 7th. Definitely should have beaten Fairport, and with reasonable races across the board, could have beaten Thomas. Sofia did manage a 13th place finish - excellent for an 7th-grader in Class A.

They were 11th in the merge, due to Waterloo and HAC having the advantage of running the first race. We would have beaten those teams if we ran on the relatively clean course.

Walking 27:02 intensity: (24:38 @1) + (2:13 @2) + (10 @3) + (1 @4) 0.91 mi (29:42 / mi)
ahr:108 max:151

Just wandered a bit checking different angles for the Class B boys race. Mendon collapsed allowing HFL to pull off the win.

Running 22:20 intensity: (22 @1) + (5:21 @2) + (2:42 @3) + (8:52 @4) + (5:03 @5) 1.46 mi (15:18 / mi)
ahr:146 max:173

Class A Boys, featuring Luke. He ran well, finishing 59.9 seconds behind Schroeder's top runner. The goal before the season was to get within a minute, so mission accomplished. Too bad the course was so sloppy, leading to very poor times. Luke passed 2 kids late and Schroeder got Thomas by 2 points, so that was nice.

Note
(rest day)

Home too late to do anything before Mass, then decided a double tomorrow would be better than doing something late tonight.
